CHEER ACADEMY WEEK 1 - WHAT A START!
This week the athletes met their coaches and teammates and got right to work on learning new things!
Stunts and jumps were first - if you haven't already, ask your athlete to show you what they learned today.
Next up was Cheer Classroom - Nutrition for Athletes
Part of being an athlete requires fueling your body, we had a special guest join us to talk about the importance of nutrition and hydration. Miss Makayla, a Nursing student at Lewis University, shared some really great tips with the teams, be sure to ask them all about it. Take a look at the really great information she put together them.
